My latest research has just been published in Physical Review B! This paper provides new insights into magnetic structure and excitations in the 2D-TLHAF system. It offers new perspectives on spin reorientations and multiferroics. 🌍✨journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/1…

🌟 Just hit a milestone: 50 published papers in physics! 🎉 Huge thanks to my collaborators for the support along the way. Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in collaborating. scholar.google.com/citations?user… #Magnetism #Physics #NeutronScattering

My year end vacation just begun! I will spend a couple of days in Sydney to clean up my house. Then I will go back home in Japan from the next week. Have a nice Christmas and new year time, everyone!

Excellent article from @ScienceNews that highlights how #neutron imaging uncovers hidden secrets of fossils and artifacts and the work of @Joseph_Bevitt sciencenews.org/article/neutro…

My 2nd paper this year was published in Physical Review B, an American Physical Society Journal. journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/1…

I am really excited the result finally came out. In the paper, we showed uniaxial stress could induce atomic reconstruction in MnP. I believe this is the first example that does not follow Neumann's principle. nature.com/articles/s4159…

My grant in Taiwan was approved for the next three years. I will be working some new series of large single crystal samples through mainly neutron inelastic scattering techniques. These crystals have never been explored. I am really excited to see new data.

anbug.net come and join us for ANBUG lecture series for neutron inelastic scattering. We will talk about time of flight spectrometers and triple axis spectrometers tomorrow.

Travelling to J-PARC (Japan proton accelerator research complex) and performing an inelastic neutron scattering experiment for a week. I haven’t done any experiments oversea for some time. I hope a good result come out. I have worked so much on this.

Christmas and new year’s holidays reading. One down!

Recently, I have been asked to write recommendation letters. That is a good thing, I feel my career stage has changed. I leave a note of what I learned by writing a recommendation letter for a postdoc. shinichiroyano.com/2022/02/22/wha…

I wrote a book review. The book is about the culture of Netflix. I have learned a lot from this book. I believe some of the ideas should help your team or company to grow much faster. shinichiroyano.com/2021/11/22/boo…
