There's a lot of great stuff in this deal but the funniest provision is that we managed to replace the dead arbiters the AMPTP insisted on keeping.

Had a meeting for a project with an A-list actor at a Brentwood wine bar. When he finished his glass, he reached across the table and grabbed mine to keep drinking. Don’t think he even noticed it wasn’t his. When he left, he said his assistant would pay. There was no assistant.
I heard a rumor today from an extremely credible source that the strike will be over as early as “when we have a fair deal.”
