Do you know that astrocytes, like excitatory neurons, are organized into multiple layers across the cortical gray matter? But, astrocytes' laminar organization does not match the classic neuronal layers. Take a look at this nice paper nature.com/articles/s4159…

Also ALL medical schools should follow suit and change their hooding policy. Medical school is no longer only for the wealthy or those from a line of doctorate degrees. As a first gen Latina, I’m successfully graduating due to my parents sacrifices and this is 100% for them
