Money was never the goal. I hated relying on Adobe (Flash) so much that I felt I had to create a free option for the HTML5/WebGL world. It has not been easy and I've had to sacrifice a few things in my personal life but I think it has been worth it.
There is no React component we do not build. There is no CSS strategy that we betray.
I still wake up every day with that same 2013 energy, thinking, ‘I get to do this. I get to make websites’.
I took a shot to create a company manifesto that honors the medieval past, feels sacred and collectible 100 years from now, and is hard to read—but that’s okay, because the words carry webmaster spirit.
