Haven’t watched boxing in a while but this purely captures my assessment from all the fights #PaulTyson

Yeah age is NOT just a number

Nah Serrano got robbed

Not me watching Iron Mike Tyson’s YouTube videos ahead of this match

One of the things people don’t talk much about in research, is the stress of sitting on groundbreaking results for a LONG time before sharing publicly. And publishing takes so long that, by the time it’s all out, it’s no longer as exciting to you.

What a time to be alive!

Mechazilla has caught the Super Heavy booster!

Jensen Huang might be my favorite CEO ever

This post is unavailable.

I spend 3 hours watching a basketball game AND another 3 the next morning listening to SAS, KJM, Skip & Shanon, etc dissect the sameee game as if I didn’t watch it lmao and I bet every NBA fan does the same thing

I’ve been prioritizing watching NBA playoffs over qualifying exam proposal and the intensity of these games leaves me with zero guilt. Damn! Anyway, back to writing…

Is it just me or this approach to science is a terrible idea? I don’t understand why anyone would adjust their experiments to increase their chances of getting their paper accepted - what if it’s not? Are your experiments answering a research question or pleasing a journal?

2. Decide where to publish BEFORE writing Most students will write first, look where to publish second. Do it the other way around! Analyze your target journal. Find out what works. Adjust your paper/experiment. Increases your chances of acceptance in high impact venues!

Why are we always trying to complicate things? We don’t need 6 tools to do literature review, & if you think you can automate this then you’re missing the point of literature review. @PhDVoice

Here is my method to conduct (and automate) a literature review. Using Google Scholar, @scite , @litmaps , #ChatGPT, @zotero and @obsdmd Tutorial with examples and best practices: 👇

Man I’ve seen some GREAT stand ups from #ChrisRock but honestlyyyyyy this was probably the worst imo. The Will Smith saga made this overhyped for no reason.

Praying for the people of Turkey and Syria, and all the folks still trapped by the earthquake. Life is fragile man 💔

What’s happening in Congo? First they find Vibranium and now, gold?

A video from the Democratic Republic of the Congo documents the biggest surprise for some villagers in the country, as an entire mountain filled with gold was discovered. The gold mountain from Luhihi invoked thousands of people to swarm the village in the South Kivu province.

The comments are hilarious. Lowkey love the gatekeeping bc if Jollof gets gentrified it’s over for us 😂

This jollof rice has the perfect sauce-to-rice ratio. It's smoky and has a spicy kick. nyti.ms/3CSrf8P
