The AEA Bill is a real problem for Republican Legislators. It’s poorly conceived, unpopular, unrealistic to implement, & unlikely to improve outcomes. And, reform needs to happen. And, the Governor primaries those who don’t fall in line. Best hope: death in the cover of committee

Agree 100%! What I've included in my emails to legislators- I appreciate the recognition that teachers deserve more compensation but combining that in the same bill that guts an essential educational support agency seems disingenuous.
Hey Iowa House Republicans - please split the AEA Bill into at least two parts soon. The proposed teacher pay increases are exciting and should be non-controversial. The part with the AEAs needs significantly more time for input and modification.
