Reclaiming the word socialism for grown-ups. Che Guevara poster went in the bin a long time ago.

Poor kid wasn’t ready for some weapons-grade Nietzsche nihilism 😆

Mike Tyson definitely forgot he was talking to a kid while answering that question 😭

The oldest surviving deck of 52 playing cards, made in the Netherlands, circa 1475 AD. Currently housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. The concept of playing cards is thought to have originated in Asia, making its way to Europe by the late 14th century, likely…

I was thinking about leaving this cesspit of misery and moaning. Then @Madz_Grant put me on to this and I now realise I can never leave. THE. BEST. THING. I. HAVE. EVER. SEEN. ON. HERE. Thank you @darrellmaclaine youtu.be/Neg7nTi63tM

People have a right to criticise, especially after the shambles at Wembley, but calling for Ian Evatt’s head after 3 games in and one away defeat is absolutely ridiculous. It’s really not helping, get behind the team and give the reset some time at least FGS. #bwfc

Today is a dark day in Olympic history and I for one won’t be watching any more of it. Everyone who allowed this to happen should hang their heads in shame if they have any respect at all for women. bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics…

Remember when @NorwichCityFC posted this advert regarding men’s mental health? It still packs a punch doesn’t it?

I keep noticing radio guests who fill each pause in a sentence with a long ‘uuuuh’ or ‘’uhmmmmm’, especially Americans. Is there a reason people do this? I recall doing it as a young child (and being told off for it). Anyway, it really annoys me (one on R4 right now).

I feel sick watching Paula Vennels crying. Because I know that she’s crying for herself, something a lot of people - the worst of people - do these days when they get found out. Truly pathetic.

Spike Milligan does politics. I promise you, this is absolutely tremendous.

The absolute state of this. Anyone who was there knew how serious and awful it was @OfficialBWFC you really need to act and ban these scumbags from the ground forever #dontbuythesun.

This painting by Edwin Van Kuyp (1617-1672) hangs in the National Gallery. It's a psychological study, depicting the howling, serpentine rage of the prosperous when their will is thwarted. It was considered to be a rebuke to Amsterdam's mercantile classes bridling at tax reforms.

In 1960, renowned photojournalist Ormond Gigli brought together a group of 43 women, each clad in chic, vibrant attire, and strategically placed them in the 41 windows of a traditional New York City brownstone. In the years to follow, this resulting image would gain recognition…

Oh yes!

This is genius. Italian singer Adriano Celentano released a song in the 70s with nonsensical lyrics meant to sound like American English—to prove that Italians would just love any American song. And it was a hit.
