Cancer Absolutely Hates Mushrooms. Pennsylvania State University researchers analyzed mushroom consumption on cancer risk, involving 19,500 patients. The subjects in the highest-consumption - 2/3 of an ounce of mushrooms daily - had a 45% lower risk of developing cancer.
