SDPD K-9 “Sir” responded with his human partners to a shooting call. The suspect fled from officers on foot. Sir ran towards the armed suspect when the suspect opened fire, fatally wounding him. SDPD officers returned fire & killed the suspect. RIP Sir. You saved lives #K9EOW
