Omg he gets it. I genuinely don’t mean to offend when I don’t respond. I actually have a mini little meltdown each time I get a message from someone that isn’t part of my “requires no mental capacity to respond to immediately” bubble.
Life gets better once you realize that every time you feel scared of doing something, it means the current you is not fully up to the task, it also means that you are about to grow as a person: you just need to stop overthinking your current limitations, get started, and push.

What’s expected from teachers right now is not realistic. They can’t both teach curriculum & also single handedly emotionally recover the children of this nation after/through the many traumas they are living. It’s a ridiculous expectation please stop asking them to do this.
When planning lessons and curriculum, we need to account for the time necessary to grapple with a concept or material on a sensory motor level before a representational and abstract level, regardless of the child’s age.
