On the day of 🇬🇧 rejoining Horizon this analysis seems sadly ironic. I hope the silver lining would be the broad realisation how underpaid academics actually are and what impact certain migration policies can have on the research field.
On 5th July @EU_Commission announced its intention to close the CVM for🇧🇬&🇷🇴. It's officially over today, after 15 years❗️. Many thanks to @KrumZarkov for the tireless efforts over the past year and to @CharmaineHili and her team for the great support and guidance.🙏
Rule of law ↓ We've formally closed the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism for Bulgaria and Romania. Today we recognise the significant progress made since their accession to the EU. Work can now continue under the annual rule of law cycle as for all EU countries.
