Where did the 7 cm aortic aneurysm go...complete regression 8 years out from FEVAR. A critical unmet need is to better understand why some aneurysms completely regress while others do not? This is a question we need all @FutureVascSurgn to decipher.

Help! Today I was informed by a preop nurse that I can put on hold an oncologic surgery because of preop cardiac issues, but I cannot do it to allow nutritional optimization in malnourished patients waiting for the same procedure🧐can someone explain me this difference?

Hey! #GPs, primary care docs and basically every other #md who is not a #vascularsurgeon. Telling your patient with a 4.3 cm #AAA that they have a TickingTimeBomb in their belly IS NOT HELPFUL! To anyone.

The Future of Canadian Vascular Surgery looks great. We met an incredible group of #carms2021 students applying to #vascularsurgery residency yesterday #carms #vascsurg Good luck to all the applicants and programs. @McGillDeptSurg @mcgillu @CanadianSVS

Twitter challenge for @McGillVascular residents. Can we find a better term for #endoleak than @TL_Forbes and @UofTVascular use of #endoflow ? There may not be a better term but let’s give it a try.

Hey @stanfordvasc @AWBeckMD @RKTvascular @TL_Forbes can you get a guidelines team together for renaming flow in an aneurysm sac. Add some #radiologists - my one request, remove leak

The term #endoleak may be the worst medical term ever created in the management of aneurysms IMO. #AortaEd

13years old,bored with math I was learning, had an idea.Learn,memorize #Pi to as many decimal places possible.Retained 50 decimal places ‘til I had my first child & started my #vascularsurgery fellowship.Downhill since. 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510 #PiDay

A new survey of Canadian vascular surgeons by @JeanJacobBrass1 suggests lack of data to guide postop home care nursing use (canjsurg.ca/64-2-e149/). Home care nursing appears to reduce ED visits and readmission in Ontario qualitysafety.bmj.com/content/28/11/… @canadanurses

Strong work by @McGillVascular and @RJDoonan in getting this valuable initiative going. Nothing but positives all around. Sharing perspectives in #vascularsurgery with colleagues from around the world.

@McGillVascular Thus far we’ve had some incredible Visiting Speakers in 2020/21 with @adampowermd @ShipraAryaMD and @VascSurgMD Looking forward to the upcoming @ChandraVenita @Pr_Thaveau Hey @McGillDeptSurg @McGillMed #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
