St Emilion @ugcb was showing good to very good to excellent. Some dry tannin and hints of bitterness for some though. Wines show all quite lean "serré" but that's an effect of this year vinification trouble I guess #BDX18 #bordeaux2018 #primeurs2018

St Estèphe has now had four good vintages in a row, with both 2014 and 2017 a better bet there than in many other parts of Bdx - and often at reasonable prices.
