Check out version 4.3's Modify command. CD>Play Audio File, select a song and press Modify. You can change pitch and speed up, slow down your music and then save as a new file.

If you have a "keyboard" type pedal like the PageFlip, make sure you have Full Keyboard Access off. Apparently it interferes with pedals like the PageFlip.
