1/2. Our next outside(R) Zine Fest (dates to be revealed soon, but in September) will focus on themes of eco activism, food growing, landrights, food sovereignty, urban walking, sustainability, allotments, bird watching, foraging, gardening, recycling, green economies.
First ever performance in Crete: 2 translations of Cavafy - 'The City' & 'The Satrapy' (Keeley / Keeley & Sherrard) in Hania. I'd like to think I upstaged the recording of Sean Connery reading Ithaka over Vangelis' composition (youtube.com/watch?v=1n3n2O…), but probably not.

Being served in the cafe today. Roast Pumpkin & Fennel, marinated & fried tofu, Katsu sauce, Rice and Soy marinaded cabbage w/ option of being dressed with sesame seeds. ALL the vegetables are from our @food_union allotment. We are serving this between 12 and 3. #soiltotable
What an amazing haul of vegetables from our @food_union CV5 site. These will be the primary ingredients for the meals we are preparing for the team from @coventry_haven who are completing the 3 Peak Challenge this weekend. #soiltotable #GreenFutures

when i was a child i wanted to be a doctor but instead i became a mental patient. Now i can truthfully say (and i know its not the same for all) that I am glad as i got to understand and know so much more that way about being helpful than i ever otherwise would have done.
