Dick Butkus

Past or present, when I say the word intimidating, which NFL player first comes to mind?

I like many of them but the remake of “3:10 to Yuma” is my favorite.

Manny Sanguillen- Pittsburgh Pirates

Without saying your age, who was the catcher on your favorite team when you started watching baseball?

He swung at the pitch….STRIKE

The bat broke before he made contact. Umpire called it a strike. Right call?

“Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” by Jamie Ford.

Do you have a favorite lesser-known book you think deserves more attention?

Absolutely! I am

This post is unavailable.

I have never written for other people. I would like it to be appreciated by others but It’s all been to satisfy my own inner needs. I’m sure that would change would I have a success within a character or plot line ( Eg: Lee Child)

Do you writer for yourself or others, hoping someone will read it?

Never in total. BUT. In attributes?.Absolutely! I’ve used backgrounds, ethnicity, many personality traits, physical traits and vocal accents. An example of this would be i could not write any remembrance of my father without references of his eastern Alabama drawl.

Do you ever base the characters in your writing on people you know, and then don’t tell the people about it?

Steelers- Jack Lambert and Greg Lloyd.

In the spirit of Halloween, who was the scariest and most feared athlete from your favorite team?
