I find it crazy that every single MSU fan ever, went to, and graduated from Michigan State, and only MSU grads are fans of their sports teams, and everyone follows that rule without exception. That’s truly amazing and they are the only University that can make this claim.

It’s just that the heavy majority of MSU fans have a personal connection, whether it’s them or a close family member. Heavy majority of Michigan fans, specifically the loudmouths and cockiest ones, have zero connections to the school whatsoever.
I still don’t really understand the “Walmart Wolverine” thing. Alumni from Michigan make significantly more, on average, than MSU alumni. Also, reports from MLive say that Michigan fans are generally more educated and have higher income. So should it be Save a Lot Spartans?
