D2C nahi ho pa raha hai. Dukaan badhiya chal rahi hai, golf course extension pe ek aur branch khol di hai.

Speaking at The D2C Retreat by Inc42, @umair_zo, Cofounder and CEO of Nitro, delved into the trust-driven shift to redefine the Indian market. What’s fueling this seismic change, and why could the next five years see explosive 20-30x growth? Umair’s insights, backed by Nitro’s…

Funding is not the goal rather its a means to an end. But we are fortunate to be backed by people who believe in us as individuals and as a team. A group of investors who arent investors at all, rather partners through this journey. A huge thanks to people at @abhishek_csvp

One thing i didnt do enough in my first startup is put ourselves out there. We thought maybe what we are building is not a huge problem. Or that we are just a b2b saas. I will definitely change this approach this time around.

D2C folks would love this. Introducing our high intent algorithm. We keep on having this conversation as to how do we filter intent and then how can we reach out to them in a better more effecient way. So we built it, and its live on 100+ merchants. Let me know your thoughts.…

Yaas. Much better. Shows the product in much better light. 1000x better

Hey @Apple, I fixed it for you (sound on)

The industry that doesnt receive a lot of VC dollars is a great industry to build software for, especially if you’re selling Outcome as a service.

We arent going to win it this year it seems :/ ugh. But the victory would be sweeter eventually when we do. And we will. COYG

Who should we follow who reviews Shopify Apps or software in general like @MKBHD does hardware? Or should i start reviewing them myself?

And while everyone will try to build the Amazon of Quick commerce aka Blinkit, Zepto’s of the world. We are building the Shopify of Quick Commerce. We are building the next gen commerce platform, built for India, by Indians.

Bulk of eCommerce in India happens from very small amount of affluent pincodes and on a small amount of SKUs. Affluent customers are impatient. Quick commerce will eat eCommerce alive. Soon.

Couldnt have put the point across in better more articulate way. Trader mentality. Very little value creation.

This is trader mentality. Indians have been reduced to traders. Traders solve for scarcity. 90% of manufacturers I see are plain traders. Most businesses. Nobody makes anything. Everyone is just trading. Buying/Selling, not making. Zero value creation.

So heartening to see support that @vijayshekhar and @Paytm is receiving from startup folks. At the same time i wish Byju best of luck as well. It takes blood and sweat to build a company. So heartening to see people come to each other’s aid. There are haters, talkers, threadbois…

The long con. Platform fee kill the software businesses to an end. Petition to end this or bring Web to the same level of experience as an app.

V IMP math of app economy.

LFG 2024, big things will be announced in January. Stay tuned.
