Honoring the strength of survivors, families, and communities impacted by residential schools. Today, we reflect on our shared history, the ongoing impacts of colonialism, and uplift the voices of those affected. #NTRD2024 #EveryChildMatters

Our Annual PHPM Resident Retreat was yesterday! We spent the morning in a session on leadership with the Department of National Defence, and the afternoon painting pottery. We also welcomed our new lead resident @follyjan, and said thanks to outgoing lead Nour Shehata! #PHPM

It was humbling to be part of the ⁦@UofODFM#reconciliation week event with wonderful leaders (here Chancellor Commanda, Dr Sarah Funnell and Dr Darlene Kitty). Learning circles, case-based discussion, art and many sharing stories. And important journey for all.

Board members @yipengGe and Meaghan McLaren lay out the reasons why we desperately need a single-payer, universal #pharmacare program. We hope this government makes the right decision to significantly improve the health of Canadians. #cdnhealth thestar.com/opinion/contri…

I thought it was quite hopeful that this op-ed I put together with Meaghan McLaren and support from @CdnDrs4Medicare folks, got published today on my birthday. You might guess what I'm wishing for this year by this op-ed.... 😁 @CMA_Docs thestar.com/opinion/contri…

Here’s to hoping and working towards a stronger and more resilient healthcare system in Canada - ensuring people have access to care regardless of the ability to pay - we need to scale up public solutions that promote equity and efficiency, like pharmacare. @CdnDrs4Medicare

Following in a proud tradition of outstanding learner representatives to @CMA_Docs board, @yipengGe rocked his first in-person meeting. A true joy for me personally to have been able to intersect with this young leader at various points on his medical journey. Onwards! :)

First in-person board meeting with @CMA_Docs as the resident board director in the history books. Very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an organization dedicated to improving health and healthcare for Canadians. 🇨🇦
