Rare Friday night with the 17 yo actually at home. I made scratch chicken noodle 🍜 and brownies and told him the TV was his for the night. So his sweet heart turned on UCLA/Iowa for mom though he could not care less about football. I won the son game for real.

Today at work…a 5yo waved & smiled big at me before he got his 🍝. So after his family ate lunch, I smiled big & waved back on their way out. He then told me ‘Thanks for living!’ and hugged my legs. When’s the last time you told someone ‘Thanks for living!’? Powerful words.
