Having policy comparisons between countries can be enlightening. For example you can realize that the UK making melatonin difficult and expensive to buy is just pointless and annoying.

Everything is still going the wrong way!

Significantly smaller results from `cargo appimage` than from regular release builds :\

Stopping a VM, pretty basic right? EC2, most popular platform for running VMs? Should be able to restart a broken instance within a few seconds after being in business for over a decade?

Amazing step by step guide to using amazing standard backup tool for an Android phone, by someone not on Twitter. neverpanic.de/blog/2022/01/2…

Just been learning about OpenTofu, and discovered tfscaffold, Terragrunt and Pulumi in the process. All seems very complicated! I just do it this way: github.com/mehhhhhhhhhhhh…

the hammersmith and city line used to be my favourite but like so many lifts, the vibe of casual semi-efficiency is ruined by the excessively long delay before the doors open

Seems that IPv6 VPNs don't really work reliably on MacOS, as it doesn't bother looking up AAAA records unless the main internet connection has a v6 address?

Honestly, I'm tired of UBI pilots. They've tried them in a bunch of countries, they've all worked. They've all increased economic activity, allowed people to make better choices for themselves, let people set up businesses or escape poverty or escape abuse. Can we just implement?
