Reagan took the deficit from 70 billion to 175 billion. Bush 41 took it to 300 billion. Clinton got it to zero. Bush 43 took it from 0 to 1.2 trillion. Obama halved it to 600 billion. Trump’s got it back to a trillion. Morons: “Democrats cause deficits.”

In 2018, Democrats won a higher share of the total popular vote in House elections than Republicans have won in any election since 1946. From Trump to Ryan on down, the increasing reaction of Rs isn't to ask why they are alienating voters-it's to question legitimacy of the result
The spread of this kind of talk is alarming. It's completely normal to continue to count ballots after an election is over. It just usually doesn't get a lot of attention because the margins are clear enough on election night to make a projection.
