Asian weaver ant, angkrang, or kerangga. It is just an aggressive ant and generalist predator. Not many know about other organisms inside the weaver ant nest. Here we accidentally found the presence of lepidopteran larvae there. Live and expense more than its life stage inside.

I am a bit late with this one, but congrats Jiri Tuma on another PhD paper out! sciencedirect.com/science/articl… How do tropical mound-building ants and termites affect soil properties? Is this affected when humans cause habitat change? Find out here!

Very excited to see this published! Species turnover in ant assemblages is greater horizontally than vertically in the world's tallest tropical forest onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…. Thanks for all your hard work @ShannonXing and co-authors Roman Dial and @MillieSCHood
