Look at these two sentences: 1) Remember to lock the door. 2) I don’t remember locking the door. The first one uses the infinitive. The second used the gerund. Remember is a verb which can use both. Remember to lock is a reminder. Remember locking is a memory.


Common English Mistakes (Present Perfect): ❌ I am here for five weeks ✅ I've been here for five weeks ❌ We have got them on Monday ✅ We got them on Monday ❌ I am working here since 2011 ✅ I've worked here since 2011
