What were these play calls by Penn State on 2nd and 3rd down with the lineman in motion? 😂

Can’t believe how the Big Ten sold out to Fox Sports to have their marquee games at noon. Meanwhile the SEC puts all of their big games in prime time. This is a massive L for the Big Ten and is gonna catch up and impact recruiting at some point.

Not happy with the lackluster performance for the Buckeyes yesterday & I expect better - but they won. Let’s keep it in perspective: PSU beat BG by 6 Bama lost to Vandy Oregon beat Idaho by 10 Georgia beat Kentucky by 1 Texas beat Vandy by 1 Lots of bad wins/losses by everyone.

I’m at the game. Season ticket holder. Yes - that was a sloppy win. But did the Ohio State fanbase and team finally wake up there on that final drive? Place was LOUD and the team responded. Is this FINALLY our jump off point to good play? Let’s go!

Very subdued crowd today at Ohio State. Haven’t seen a quiet crowd like this in some time. Must be a big hangover still.

Wow that might go as an all-timer tonight for McCord. Not only 5 INTs but 3 of them returned for TDs? I can’t think of very many games by a highly touted QB worse than that.

So @KenCarman and @SportsBoyTony - I was there yesterday. Watson was booed in the intros & booed several times coming off the field in first half. There was certainly a smattering of cheers when he got hurt - but are the players blending in the boos from BEFORE?

Proud of this team. They grew up some these last three games. Were much more competitive than that debacle in the Bronx. Lots of woulda, coulda, shoulda. They are so young on the field and with the manager too - hopefully they learn from this experience. Lots of room for growth.

Just unreal. Should have won this game 2-0. But we gave them life with the gaffe to Stanton and Soto did what he does. He’s so good. Once again - their stars have shined. Would have been nice to see Jose and Naylor hit a few big homer this series.

Kudus to Vogt. He knows his guy. And Clase came up big. That’s a much needed confidence boost. Now let’s walk this one off!

I thought Gaddis was warming? Going with Clase here against Judge and Stanton is an interesting choice. His ball has been flat and his velo has been down. Let’s hope he’s got it tonight.

I love Joe Ramirez so much. One of my all time Guardians favorites. He will get a statute one day. But what a disappointing postseason from him. You need your stars to shine to have a chance. Hopefully he gets another crack later this game to shine.

3 inexcusable choices by Vogt have had a massive impact on this series. Bringing in Cantillo in G1 (led to 4 wild pitches, 3 BB & 3 runs). Not walking Stanton with a base open in G4 (resulted in 3-run HR). Not walking Stanton in G5 with a base open (resulted in 2-run HR). Brutal.

Stanton and Soto have been great for the Yankees - but Rizzo and Torres have been unsung heroes at the plate. They have really done a nice job - especially Torres - with some great at bats.

Two nights in a row they inexcusably pitch to Stanton with two outs and a base open. Those are both on Vogt. Just absolutely stupid. And he’s taking out Bibee now? After one bad pitch? The damage is done but keep him in. Just awful managing.

Baseball drives me nuts sometimes. Lane hits a ball up the middle with bases loaded and it gets fielded for the out. Soto hits one up the middle and it finds its way through.

Vogt is likely gonna have to make a decision here soon. Let Bibee face the top of the Yankees order a third time or bring in a tired bullpen that the Yankees have seen 4-5 times at this point. If Bibee is still rolling - gotta keep him in and ride with him.

I know this is an elimination game - but for me the pressure is off tonight. Been a great year. Go out and have fun and play well. Whatever happens happens. If we win we play another game. If we lose - then bravo on a good season. Just play loose and have fun!
