If someone without dental insurance gets a tooth infection, they can end up in the ER. If a diabetic can’t afford insulin, they can end up in the ER. National dental care and pharmacare don’t just help people who need them. They’ll make the entire system better for everyone.
Some crisis pregnancy centres are dishonest. They don’t provide abortions — and they purposely don’t tell you that. Women have choices in Canada. If these centres want their charitable status, they need to be transparent about the choices they offer — and the ones they don’t.
