This is such a huge gesture of compassion. As another person with a history of disordered eating and body dysmorphic disorder, I highly recommend every medical professional to take note.
Full respect and a heartfelt thank you to the midwife who just asked me if I wanted to know my weight rather than just blurting it out without warning. A small gesture that makes a huge difference to someone with a history of disordered eating.
