This is facts i wish i could organize my music in serato like it was excel. It almost feels silly sometimes manually dragging things and smart crates idk anyone that uses
We’re living in the age of AI now, how is there not something that can organize my @Serato library yet? Find and delete all my doubles, label my songs correctly in all fields, put them into crates, organize my crates into an efficient structure, delete or archive, unused crates.

Honestly today I think this advice matters more now. I feel like DJs are more akin to comedians now. Crowd def does not know what they want anymore. Obviously everything has to be within taste but I really don’t think crowds know what they want.
DJs don’t pull a crowd anymore because the crowds have become DJs themselves.
A promoter told me recently that DJs don’t bring crowd anymore. But he books DJs who can entertain his crowd when they come. What are your thoughts on this? Do you actually care who’s on stage or once the drinks nice and your favourite songs play you good?
