For over a year my free time has been spent turning this ‘LilyGo T-Dongle S3’ into hacking tool USB/WiFi/BT which I’ve named the USB Army Knife. This device is cheap, tiny, has a screen, SPI port, button and can do a ton of stuff with the ESP32-S3 inside. It has consumed me! 🧵

Hearing tech + improving lives of deaf/HoH people + ESP32 + faraday cage = my kinda hack! As someone who can’t function without hearing aids this speaks to me! Particularly like the use of an ESP32 to broadcast the SSIDs to fake the location (USB Army Knife can do this too)

Apple released a hearing aids feature for the AirPods Pro a while ago. I bought a pair for grandma, but then realized that the feature was geoblocked in India So we at @_lagrangepoint decided to unblock it. It ended up involving a leaky microwave and building a Faraday cage:

When you have to take a large businesses culture rethink sessions they should tell you what lawsuit the company lost to forced this upon everyone. Lawyers, write this into your plea deals!

The more I think about the more I’m convinced that the Grandma in Encanto is a witch and all her descendants powers are actually curses

Kinda in love with these USB-A to USB-C insert adapters. Fit in the USB Army Knife really snug. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EywPzP7

The only bit that was worth watching was when she said “this is bullshit”, that was correct. Anyway, Russell Brand can sell her a medallion if she’s so worried about the signals…

A woman's rant is going semi-viral in political circles on Twitter and Facebook. Some are citing her rant as evidence of potential electoral interference during the 2024 Presidential election. The woman's opening remarks claim she possesses a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork…

I think I’ve exhausted all the ESP32/PICO devices in this USB-A form factor. Let me know if you find anything I’ve missed.

Checked in some USB Army Knife changes to support RaspberryPi Pico devices (inc device below). The project now supports many different devices across 2 different microcontrollers! Other stuff: * Lower RAM usage * New TFT & LED cmds * Can now wait for agent cmds to complete

The problem with imposter syndrome is that it just glosses over the fact you might be an imposter.
