On the @anaraffali sunscreen.I don't mean to be derogatory towards her. With her 330k++ followers, she should be mindful of posts, especially on medical topics as they can influence her audiences. Strong opinions r not wrong, but presenting them as facts without the creds is risky.

The truth is, surface level knowledge is dangerous. Oversimplifying complex concepts often leads to misinformation, causing those without a proper understanding to be misled. An example? flat earthers. other examples? Anti vaccines. Sad but true.

can we normalise asking people that expert in their field rather than just believe someone who randomly searching in google and make a simple conclusion sebab penat tau study all mechanism, route of pathway, cause of cancer wtv tapi orang percaya orang begini saja😭

doktor pakar dermatology boleh dah resign rugi je belajar pakar 4 tahun sebab ada org baca paper bukan amik master tapi baca paper je boleh deny macam tu je kah!

I don’t wear sunscreen, I don’t believe in it. This includes chemicals, umbrellas or buildings. We need sun on skin to make vitamin D. If you have an underlying health condition like diabetes, hyperthyroidism, obesity, insomnia, anxiety etc, check that you’re getting enough sun.

Dang, congrats with the flex good for you. But your specialization has nothing to do with dermatology/skin biology at all. Your flex is invalid to be honest. But please, let the experts talk. You are not qualified. NOT QUALIFIED.

girl imagine thinking having a masters in anything outside of chemistry or biology means u understand sunscreen better than anyone else LMAOOOOOOO simpan je la buat malu ada la

Sorry, not sorry. I dah lama simpan this flex. ☺️ #mytimetoshine

With all due respect a master’s degree in instructional technology does nawt make you an expert in dermatology 💀 It’s like me possessing a law degree talking smack about something related to geology after a couple of hours of light reading

Sorry, not sorry. I dah lama simpan this flex. ☺️ #mytimetoshine

Im betting that person really was waiting for the moment to flex her academic achievement, but in this case macam lari out of context. Being a professional in “learning” is not the same as being a professional in actually practising or doing it

And it’s not even related to medical science lol 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nothing to flex.

Always distrust anyone who happily flexes their academic results everywhere.

taktau nape member kena bash tapi betul. perempuan tu tak pernah ambik apa² kelas sains gunaan / perubatan berkaitan kulit / kimia dalam pembuatan produk . biologi pun TAKDE. setakat tepek gambar infografik Internet mana boleh woi tepek lah Research paper ke atleast nak debat 😭

Can you believe someone like me, with a master’s in biotechnology, commenting on your field? Or should people trust you, an expert, or me, who’s barely skimmed a page about it? What do you think?

She thought getting A for video production makes her a medical expert. 🤣 a scientist even. 🤣🤣🤣

Sorry, not sorry. I dah lama simpan this flex. ☺️ #mytimetoshine

@anaraffali 1) Yes, we need the sunshine but just like everything else, the amount is important; 2) Sunscreen is important for skin cancer prevention. U can ask the IARC, which is part of the WHO, under the UN; 3) Ur Master’s in EDUCATION can’t over-ride global medical experts

U don’t even respect the opinions and expertise of specialists. How can you discuss the foundations of learning and knowledge when everything you’ve learned so far is thanks to experts in their respective fields? Clearly, you want to be celebrated as a hero, placed on a pedestal.
