Lloyds Bank CEO appears to admit breaking stock exchange rules and UK laws by not disclosing price sensitive information in a timely manner if necessary to retain (unjustified) confidence in the bank! May explain a lot eg why he denied the HBOS fraud & obstructed the police

Wow Even by the greedy & duplicitous standards of the city that is a shocker

Is that BDO whose fantastic report for POL said Horizon wasn't the cause in @CastletonLee case...then one turned up to work for Therium taking £35m from...POL.

Tip of the BDO iceberg. Countless complaints made to the ICAEW specific BDO's Insolvency Practitioners investigated by ICAEW employees who were former employees of..... [drum roll please].... BDO. Former employees who will have indulged in the same unlawful practises whilst…

Yet another City person with a perceived excellent reputation is exposed as a liar/cheat- even forging documents! Regulators & courts need to be less in awe of purportedly reputable execs & advisers & follow the evidence. Reputations often hide the guilty.

The audit watchdog has banned a former senior manager of accountancy giant BDO for 20 years after she was found to have been creating false documents. cityam.com/ex-bdo-senior-…

Just like Post Office - protect the 'Brand' at the cost of violated human beings. Welby and his mate Vennells could write a book - 'Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.'

Retired Judge Dobbs initially expected to spend a few months investigating ‘who knew what when’ at #Lloyds about the #HBOSfraud After 7 1/2 yrs -20x as long- there’s no interim report &she can’t even say when her report will be ready. LBG want to bury it.🤔 Red flags everywhere

Pressure builds on Lloyds to publish review of £1bn HBOS fraud thetimes.com/business-money… Allowing the bank to keep control is like asking the thief to return the stolen goods rather than demanding it in return for less time ! @jameshurley

HBOS banking frauds dating back to 2002 not investigated by the FCA, the Serious Fraud Office, Govt. Lloyds Bank promised to do so in 2017, publish report in 2018. To date, nothing. Lloyds Bank funds the City of London Police. Any UK sector not corrupt? leftfootforward.org/2024/11/the-pr…

I wonder how quickly the lawyers involved in the redress scheme are paid, maybe they should publish these figures next to the compensation payments for comparison and transparency and the difference in terms of settling quickly🤔

Let's make it retrospective and jail POL bosses.

Once again Non Exec Directors have failed at their job When will shareholders hold them to account? How do they get away with being so hopeless? They seem to never listen to credible voices raising concerns let alone ask searching questions thetimes.com/article/866f79…

So “hiding important information from investors” is one of the new criminal offences. Directors should be nervous of delaying release of bad news, or down playing risks in statements they do make. So banks understating liabilities for #carLoanScandal would be criminal

📢 Large organisations are to be held criminally responsible if they profit from fraudulent practices. We're driving a culture of responsibility and accountability in corporate boardrooms.

Quite excited to be able to say that in @TimesMoney tomorrow we'll have an exclusive interview with Marcus Johnson, the lead claimant in last Friday's Court of Appeal judgment that has upended the entire car finance industry... thetimes.com/business-money…

The only explanations are that either they were lying ( & illegally manipulating the market as they did with PPI, HBOS Fraud etc) or those who did the analysis were morons who deserve to be sacked. LBG could share its analysis so we can judge which it is?

Lloyds Bank CEO, Chair and senior Counsel should resign. They dishonestly represented to shareholders and the market what they knew their true exposure to costs from car finance was, and manipulated the stock price as a result. Play the short video of my question and my…

Companies cause so much destruction by 1st cheating & then covering up, delaying & lying. We can only guess how much less scandals like the post office, PPI, bank frauds etc would have cost if they had just bitten the bullet & taken the hit. My guess is at least 90%.
