May we not forget that we are pilgrims in this world.

People need to be educated. Israel was familiar with the balm of Gilead, which is why Jeremiah could metaphorically use it to speak about their spiritual condition and the need for healing. The balm of Gilead itself isn’t evil but material. Medicine is not in opposition to faith.

Poor theology has very dire consequences. In my few years of practice in this country I’ve seen one too many cases of people rejecting medical care to seek “spiritual healing.” People who conflate delusion with faith, and lie about the true state of their health. It is folly.

This is my invitation unto you to attend Seekers Conference, Ibadan. God will be helping us assess ways we have strayed from orthodoxy and how we, as Christ’s body, can return to it. As this day inches closer, please pray for us.

The evil of materialism comes in two distinct forms: you can be absorbed in the hoarding of wealth which you do have and you can be consumed with concern about that which you don’t have. Our trust and security must be in the Lord, whether rich or poor.

Prayer is an act of faith, not a means to hijack God’s sovereignty. We pray to God because we are not in control. More so, we are incapable of praying without Him. Prayer should humble us and remind us of who we are —weak without God. The Lord rebukes the proud!

There’s no need to be unnecessarily speculative by adding 'seed-sowing' ideas to what the Bible says about Melchizedek. Today, many false teachers use religious language to turn people away from Christ and towards things that can't save them. They make men worse. God will judge!!

Seekers Conference is about 2 weeks away! This is a beckoning to return to God and delight in His laws. Our hope is that Christ's sheep will hear His voice and come! Visit bit.ly/SeekersConIbad… to register now and get set to receive God's Word faithfully preached to the church

This thread will bless you! We live in an age where we see suffering as incompatible with God’s goodness. We look to this side of eternity to judge the One who transcends time. Within the goodness of God is His glory and our ultimate good. All the means He uses are good for us.

I promise you, a Christian telling you that they recognize that God sometimes uses suffering to sanctify—and thus, it can be a good gift—does not mean that the Christian LIKES suffering😂. I have heard many strange things today and may God really help us.

The comfort of modern Christianity has led us to see martyrdom as foolishness. When comfort becomes an idol, life itself ceases to be a cost worth paying for truth! Christianity, to us, is a straight line.

In the face of injustice, show grace and keep loving. The eternally holy God will avenge all unjust sufferings in His perfect time. While our flesh desires vengeance, the Spirit of God compels us to love with no reservations. Vengeance is of God! You can't do it better than Him.

Biblical honor does not mean blind obedience. Don't outsource your discernment to any man – that's taking it too far!

Ah yes, that’s their playbook: Gaslighting people for using social media—as if the message only counts if it’s delivered from a pulpit while they simultaneously tweet their rebuttals. The problem is about "CT boys" not their mashup with Pelagius and Marcion which is evil.

Hyper Grace teachers are on a roll with their approach, most especially creating a false persecution that doesn't exist and start to preach love, attack " CT " boys or reformed boys from Twitter and use the same rhetoric " Local church" one thing? Never discuss the issue

There’s a kind of fame we should never desire—the kind that creates a false illusion of success, built on vanity metrics and little impact. It’s okay to live quietly and never be known. In your little corner, you can serve diligently, change lives, and create meaningful

I don't think Christian Rap belongs in the church tbh. My thoughts are not fully formed on the matter, but I think I'm starting to see Christian Rap for what it is --- a good and holy form of entertainment for believers, but does it encourage mindful worship in church? Not sure.

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders…🎧🙏

Settle this in your mind: It is not God who has failed you, but man. In God, you can find comfort and peace. Pray that He leads you to those who are faithful to His Word. He has remnant, who, though not known in this world, are known by Him. Your weary soul can find water again.

It is not love to tolerate what leads others astray! The wounds of men should cause you to be fearless!

The idea that Christians should refrain from calling out the evil within the church is absurd. Silence in the face of evil, is evil. Your desire to “save face” is cultural, not biblical, and it is sad how you don’t see that these errors are a stumbling block to the faith of many.
