Looking to improve culture at work or on the field? Communication is key. Each side must listen to the good and not shy away from hearing the bad. Each side also must express what they need from each other. Sometimes the effort is their, but just not where it would help the most.

Wow, this is a MUST watch! Steph on communication being the: “Fabric of the team.” If you want to impact the game, impact it with your communication. ⬇️⬇️

Nothing better than my youngest meeting his favorite player @Landonsamson1 Seeing Landon’s reaction to a young fan in his own jersey…priceless. @CoachSBeamer does nothing but recruit the best players, and men, in the sport. It’s easy to see why when you experience this culture.

"You gotta find a way to coach them." - Bill Belichick & Nick Saban.

Michael Jordan was once asked what he thought his best skill was. He didn’t say it was his ability to dunk from the free throw line or his scoring ability. His answer: “I was coachable. I was a sponge and aggressive to learn.” The easier you are to lead, the further you’ll go.

Since Phil Kornblut asked this, the Gamecocks have gone 7-2 with wins over the #13, #8 and #5 ranked teams in the country

I don't care what star you are. One of the best kids I've ever coached had 0 stars, but he had unbelievable character, work ethic, and a burning desire to compete. It's about playing for each other and attacking the process every day. Chris Klieman on accountability:

Great leaders..... -Small ego, big mission. -We before me. -A lot of love and accountability. -A lot of grace and truth. -Demanding but not demeaning. -Loving but not enabling. -Shout praise. Whisper criticism. -High standards, low tolerance for excuses.

Take 2 minutes and listen to this one! Who packed your parachute? So good!

First PGA Tour event in the books for the boys! @RBC_Heritage made even more memorable by @FredVR_ and his brother @coistheman , who spoke to the boys on multiple holes and gave them a ball. Fans for life and good luck the rest of the week!

Tonight I experienced what will be one of my most cherished memories as a Dad. My youngest was called up from Tee Ball to play with his older brothers in their DIII Coaches Pitch game. All 3 Kimball boys in one lineup, and Wills awarded the Game Ball! Possible only @PblUpdates

5 Ways to Win Today: 1. Control what you can control. 2. Let go of what you can’t. 3. Replace fear with faith. 4. Speak truth to the lies. 5. Believe the best is yet to come. Let’s go!

Talent is real, but it’s potential. It’s paper value. Execution is what counts. It’s practical value. You can’t do anything about your talent. You can do everything about your execution.

The #1 reason a team has a strong culture with high standards is because the staff clearly and effectively models the standards they want to exist for the culture they want to create. People observe and follow the actions of leaders more than words of leaders. Skin in the game.

High standards, structure rooted in accountability and leaders who model their edicts determine morale, commitment and ultimately the behavior of the team.

Average talent 📈 in a great culture. Great talent 📉 in a toxic culture. A great culture not only attracts great talent, it invests in and develops that talent. Make your culture a competitive advantage.
