The Sun Kings are live on stage tonight at 9. Time was, Cardiff was one of the prime polyglot places in Britain, so no surprise that not only do an all star band of capital city faces have a hefty interest in Cumbia, they also have a darn good go at it. Proper entertaining too.

Tonight at 9 we have live music from Shak Shak. There we were sadly writing this crew off as casualties of the bad years, but, no, here they are again. Everything feels better for a while at least. Ska, Afro, festy/traveller anthems, just plain old fashioned fun. A lot of fun!

The week starts with live music from @TangoJazzQ On their 15th European tour (30th world tour), direct from Argentina, and, yes, the style is there in the name. This would normally be a ticketed arts centre gig, but they like The Bell better… Who doesn't!

Live at lunchtime today it's Peter & The Wolves. Pete Coggins, who you will remember as a Soul Ingredient can naturally turn those pipes round to the Blues too, who's even to say it's different music? Not me. Anyway, one class act… Sunshine music, beer and The Pizza Bike!
