This man needs catnips.

If i had to put a percentage on it, i would say that 75% of the "use cases" I hear for artificial intelligence are just bogus. The most authentic is Meta and then Amazon...

This is a wonderful spot-on write-up about @githedgehog 's open network fabric and how it solves some exciting problems in the AI networks, especially in the front/mid-end networks and inference. Thank you @ehorley ! #NFD35 #AIInfrastructure #OpenNetworking

Not everything is RDMA in the backend.

With AI, the major action will be in the front-end networks. #AINetworking delloro.com/news/front-end…

Agreed. For starters, customers must evaluate every vendor in the path of mission critical apps in the same way. I've seen customers (and regulators) be thorough evaluating hyperscalers about their operational practices, it seems like they are not as strict with other providers.

Cloud diversification, distributed cloud and repatriation of mission critical things sounds really amazing until you're hit with amazing complexity of enterprise grade infrastructure. There has to be a better way. /cc @githedgehog cio.com/article/347588…
