Well-deserved recognition for Dr Robitaille’s incredible work on NMJ. Wonderful that @ALSCanada was able to fund this ground-breaking work along the way.

The Healey & AMG Center for ALS awarded the 4th annual Drs. Ayeez & Shelena Lalji Family ALS Award to Richard Robitaille, Ph.D., for groundbreaking work on NMJ impairments in ALS, leading to a clinical trial. Read more: massgeneral.org/neurology/als/…

As I was able to focus on this video at mtg opening today, I was overcome w emotion thinking of the people who make up our community. The faces of so many friends & family. This is why I am inspired, privileged, and feel the responsibility of my work, each and everyday.

Each year, the Alliance raises awareness and amplifies advocacy efforts through the March of Faces. This powerful visual display honours the courageous people — both past and present — living with ALS/MND. 💙 Watch the 2024 video: youtu.be/8sa0EQ4cpiU #ALSMNDWithoutBorders

Outstanding news for patients and families facing ALS! This support enhances excellent, compassionate care from Ontario's amazing ALS teams and brings hope. Our dedicated doctors, scientists, and trialists are committed to finding a cure! #ALS #TeamOntario

Today’s Fall Economic Statement included $13 million to support people in Ontario battling ALS. It was great to welcome ALS Canada to Queen’s Park this afternoon and hear about the life-changing difference this funding will make.

It’s been an incredible start to a week of visits in Alberta and BC. Great to see the work that clinicians and researchers are doing in Edmonton and Calgary. From a better understanding of the mechanisms of ALS, to wearable technology to provide better care.

A strong 10 year partnership of funding national ALS research initiatives in Canada. We appreciate the opportunity to immediately double the impact to leverage valuable donor dollars 1:1 making the investment go that much further to creating a world free of ALS.
