Astonishing revelation at Full Council by a #SEND family that @OxfordshireCC's Priority Action Plan has been rejected by @educationgovuk Cllrs were aghast. If true, why the cover-up? If untrue, why no correction? Management of this vital service is appalling & *must* be gripped.

A sad day – I want to pay particular tribute to one of my predecessors, Alistair Darling. One of the great Chancellors, he’ll be remembered for doing the right thing for the country at a time of extraordinary turmoil. My deepest sympathies to his family.

@GroupOx Cllrs & @OxonTories will always do right by #SEND families. I have been calling for #Labour & #LibDem Cllrs to take action for c.10 months now. Whatever the outcome of ensuing negotiations, we must have good governance @OxfordshireCC & we must put SEND families first.
