The US Supreme Court has denied a stay of execution for Richard Moore. He's set to be executed by lethal injection at 6 p.m. tomorrow. His case before the Supreme Court concerned the striking of two Black potential jurors by prosecutors.
In 2001, Richard Moore was sentenced to death after a new solicitor, accused of being anti-death penalty, removed all the Black jurors. A SC Supreme Court judge called his case proof of a "broken" system. His execution is scheduled for Friday. thestate.com/news/local/cri…
