Flash Wilson Bristow 4th December 1975-15th Febuary 2020 She lived her life to the fullest extent she could, fighting against injustices that affected other more often than those that affected her. I will miss her terribly.

My phone just abbreviated "mobile sling" to "mong"! As in "I need a mong to help me bathe". Joy.

You know I'm exhausted when I'm using the torch on my phone to search... for my phone...

So I assumed this "Christmas Tinner" would be sold for a joyful "Christmas Tenner"! But no, apparently it's only £1.99 - which is close to tempting me to try it in the name of... I dunno, insanity?! If you're crackers enough to learn more, here you go: ladbible.com/news/food-the-…

O.M.G. @GameDigital have decided what gamers need in their lives is Xmas dinner in a can, so you don't need to leave your desk to eat. So they're selling "Christmas Tinner". Ideal for the sad, isolated geek... I attach a pic of the veggie version. Gosh. And do we heat it as one?

Apparently if you hear "Sabres of Paradise - Haunted Dancehall (In the Nursery Mix)" on Radio 1, you should check the news or turn on the TV; it's an indication that the Queen has died. Here's how it sounds (for a dancefloor track, I rather like it!) youtu.be/ozuFCYJQ4os

Wow, just when I thought we'd seen all the levels of lying, bluffing, etc. techniques, Boris adds plagiarism to the list: as another commentator said "I wondered how he managed to sound so grown-up!"

The Prime Minister has basically copied and pasted my blogpost into a thread and passed it off as his own explanation. A blogpost which I had to write to rebut the lies he spent yesterday spouting. This is weapons grade shithousery.

Dreamt the Queen died. But not in a normal manner, oh no! In the middle of my otherwise standard dream, my view faded, then came back to reveal two news reporters at a desk in front of me, one of whom said "We interrupt this dream to inform you that the Queen has died..." (!)

OMG. Ohio bill orders doctors to ‘reimplant ectopic pregnancy’ or face 'abortion murder' charges. So they expect medics to save the mother's life by removing embryo from fallopian tube, but then somehow reattach it in her uterus? Impossible. Ridiculous. theguardian.com/us-news/2019/n…

London Bridge sealed off amid reports of gunfire... Oh goodness. Hope everyone's ok. And on Black Friday too, where so many people are out and about... bbc.co.uk/news/uk-506047…

I’ve just heard Johnson on @LBC refusing to answer the basic question ‘How many children do you have?’

Um, @bbcnews I think that's a rather unfortunate typo on today's newspaper page... Kelvin's surname is Fletcher ...not Feltcher!! 😄

#GaryRhodes 's family aim to end speculation by stating he died from head injury. Sorry for them that they felt the need to do so. I remember when my good friend Steve died. Similar age. Totally out of the blue. Awful shock. All who loved Gary must be feeling such pain too 😞

Wow. It's the news of so many deaths today. Firstly Ariel Burdett, the "holistic vocal coach" who caused controversy on #xfactor Then we hear about the sad loss of Gary Rhodes... Now, Clive James's death has been announced. Sympathies to anyone who has lost someone they loved.

Terribly saddened by the news of Gary Rhodes’ death, far far too young. He was a complex man. Most of all he was an astonishing restaurant chef. I ate spectacular meals at City Rhodes. My tribute: a detailed profile I wrote of him from 2002. theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2…

Just remembered that #GaryRhodes was head chef at The Castle in Taunton, back in the days when my family would go there. It's where I learnt to love Melba toast! More importantly, it's where I ate the best piece of meat ever - sadly it was veal. But stuck in my mind forever.

BBC News - Gary Rhodes: Chef and TV presenter dies aged 59 bbc.co.uk/news/entertain… Wow, that's a shock. Nothing else I can say beyond hoping his family are bearing up and that the media respect their need for peace and privacy.
