Just days after the ICJ ruling to halt offensive in Rafah, reports that Israel has attacked civilian tents and UN compounds. Our governments must do something to stop this madness and do it now.

Israel commits a massacre in #Rafah this evening, dropping several 2,000 pound bombs on civilian tents and #UN compounds, murdering dozens of civilians seeking shelter. This was Israel’s response to the @CIJ_ICJ ruling Friday that it must halt its offensive on Rafah.

Continuing the south Korean fresh produce theme. Strawberries, in a polystyrene tray, individually cushioned, overwrapped. Yours for just £5.18p. The plastic consumption in Korea is huge (and in Japan). 1. Reduce 2. Reuse 3. Recycle

And to follow the carrot... Some potatoes for sale in the same South Korean supermarket. Select what you want using the tongs with attached gloves! £2.90 per kg. Home produced new as far as I could tell. Basic food seems really expensive here.

An individually plastic wrapped carrot in South Korean supermarket. 2130Won = £1.24. Always enjoy looking at fresh produce while traveling. But this seems mad.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that our colleague, friend and Head of Knowledge Exchange Dr Simon Bowen passed away on Sunday 10th March. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
