30 years a librarian. Started library studies at kindergarten obviously...
So my first 4 weeks/days in my new job. Day 1 - induction. Day 2 - public holiday. Day 3 - opening hours cut in half (covid-19). Day 4 - library closes (covid-19). Imagine how much more damage I could do if I worked more than 1 day a week?😏 😱😂😏
So the Gap Year has ended early! On Monday I start a new life as Melbourne Athenaeum Librarian. How cool is that? It’s the perfect job for me right now. One day a week in a library with a very strong crime fiction collection. #dreamlibrary #dreamjob #stilldoingmyhappydance

Was made redundant 3 months ago. Took break from Twitter so as not to spoil future job prospects by tweeting angry. Thnx to all who messaged support while I decided what I wanted to be when I grow up. Having holiday then decision time = Nov 1. (ish)
