Another interesting landslide sent to me by ex-student Derek Cronmiller who works at the Yukon Geological Survey. The Chandindu River landslide is about 30 km south of Dawson City Yukon. Lots of molards and it blocked the river. 1/3
So everyone complains that the Opening Ceremony camera work is unwatchable with the rain-soaked cameras on the river and yet we know for a fact there's a country right there with a perfectly good drone camera to use
Debris flow affecting the South Klondike highway at km 58 at Tutshi Lake sent by ex-grad student Derek Cronmiller who works at the Yukon Geological Survey. Happened July 23 after 50 mm or rain after a wet week. Estimated volume 63,000 m3. 1/2
