He'll just ignore that part, then. "Well, if I have to fight back, I should go for strategic points, right?" Aka, the stomach, neck, groin, and inside of the arms. But that wouldn't affect a skeleton much, would it?
“Not necessarily, son.” he says. “If you intend to talk your way through a soldier, I’ll have to say one is not much of a talker. Soldiers execute orders. You’ll have to get to their leader to talk and offer a dea—” Perhaps speaking of deals was too soon.
Good question. He doesn't have much of a clue. "Um... Well, do I have to fight them?" Surely there was a way to prevent conflict with words? Maybe not-
“Very well then.” Hades snaps his fingers. Three skeletons get detached from the wall and slowly approach the boy. “Now. There are three of them. What do you think they’ll do? And how are you going to defend yourself?”
"Defense." That seemed a bit more useful than offense to him, and he didn't really know what to do with his godly powers in the first place, so... defense it is.
What he actually was… well he called for Pain and Panic. Loudly. To take notes. Once they arrived, the God gave them a look, and he turned back to his son. “Now… I’ll let you choose which one to start with— offense, defense, growing and controlling your godly powers…?”
"Okay!" He doesn't mind that his dad forgot, it's not a huge deal. He'll wait for him to gather his things.
Okay, he cannot believe he had forgotten about that. “Yes, /of course/!” He chuckles nervously. “Lemme just get a few things and we’ll begin.”
"Can we start my training now?"
Plops down next to his mother, munching off some nachos, silently offering her some. (@FairestGoddess)
