The next time a brand tells you they don’t have budget, keep in mind that they don’t have budget… FOR YOU (us). 😹

Just watched Heeramandi. Found everything but heermandi in it. I mean either you don’t set your story in 1940’s Lahore, or if you do- you don’t set it in Agra’s landscape, Delhi’s Urdu, Lakhnavi dresses and 1840’s vibe. My not-so-sorry Lahori self can’t really let it go.

clothing is social language but if you dress in ways to make people think you're rich, you will come out looking like a tasteless clown.

My real friends are people who have never read my books and have no intention of doing so.

Every academic needs friends who have no idea what you research and don't care.

So, how do you know when you can wear a suit jacket on its own? Clothing is a social language, so much of this is about training your eye for what looks right, just as you would train your ear to know what sounds right. However, I can give you some guidelines:

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SUIT JACKET, SPORT COAT, AND BLAZER? A friend of mine recently emailed me to ask whether he accidentally bought a suit jacket by mistake, when he wanted a sport coat. I see this sort of thing happen often, so let's break down the differences 🧵

i’m worried you’ve already made like an entire thread on this and i just forgot, but i was wondering if you could explain the difference between a sport coat and like suit jacket (mens) and how to tell the difference between them?

@StormFiberCare is just so useless. I call them almost every week to curse and complain. Is there anyone here from @Stormfiber?

aamiriat Reposted

More than 15 complaints in 11 months very poor service from @StormFiberCare frequent disconnection’s that always continues for minimum two days. I didn’t expected this type of services from #stormfiber

I don't usually use social media to complain about services, but I feel compelled to say that @stormfiber is the worst internet service provider in Karachi. Two to three days every week, we are without internet due to faults. They have the audacity to advertise based on lies.

A little tech meets fashion: Steve Jobs’ uniform wasn’t just an ordinary black turtle neck. His black turtle necks were always Issey Miyake. Issey Miyake actually retired this turtleneck after the death of Steve Jobs in 2011 Here’s a THREAD on how it came to be his staple👇🏽
