the worst part is that there is no closure. maya henry won’t have justice; liam won’t ever be able to get sober and make amends; the industry that chews and exploits young people to get everything out of them will continue to thrive and produce entertainment.
i have been a part of the one direction community since i was 13. i am 26 now. for half of my life, they have been a vital part in my life. i am sending love to all my one direction girlies right now who, like me, are navigating the news and processing their feelings.
Liam did NOT deserve death. he deserved medical and psychological help. which is what he needed all of these years to help with battle his addictions and mental illnesses. he made terrible choices and hurt innocent people in horrible ways but he never deserved death. im crushed
people are not mourning the man liam payne became, they are mourning the man he used to be and the man they grew up with. the man that was part of something that shaped millions of peoples lives.
one of the saddest things is knowing that cheryl cole has to wake her 7 year old son up in the morning and tell him his dads dead, i would dread to think what this will do to the poor child

was liam payne a good person? no. did he deserve to end this way? also no. i just wish he could have had access to the help he desperately needed
this is just such a strange feeling bc obviously i haven’t supported him or his actions for years but one direction was such a big part of my life like???
okay for all you saying “the switch up is crazy” liam was accused of some VERY serious things. it’s not just ab the “hate train”, people didn’t like him for a valid reason. but people are mourning the version of him we loved and cherished. so just remember that
absolutely fucking hate that this is where his story ended. I wanted him to have time to find peace and health and make the serious amends he needed to.
say what you want about Liam but quite frankly this is another case of child stardom taking a life too soon. after one direction ended that man was not well, we could all see it. he harmed others and himself. what a fucking tragic end. he deserved so much better
just yesterday Maya Henry shared that Liam Payne would manipulate her with threats of suicide - and implied she would be to blame if anything happened to him after the release of her book. My heart is with Maya right now, this is not fair 💔
