Insurance exists to cover events that are random, infrequent, catastrophic, & outside the control of the individual. That’s Econ 101. But here’s the rub: only 30% of medical events meet these criteria, yet >70% of healthcare costs are borne by insurance. A hard question about…

This is a real problem for @thesoccerdon and @MLS The Apple deal brought massive new revenue and a valuable partner to the league. But for many casuals, MLS has become out of sight and out of mind, hidden behind a non-traditional subscription streaming paywall.

I won't pay extra to watch my local team. So when they were in the final on Sat I think it was the first time I saw them all year. MLS is dead to a lot of us. But I follow Gotham FC closer now, why, because they are on MSG.

99% of cars will be electric and autonomous in the future. Manually-driven gasoline cars will be like riding a horse while using a flip phone. Still happens, but it’s rare.

True. So make it number one in the world. @MLS has the financial capability to do so. MLS also has the unique advantage of playing in a country(s) that players actually find attractive. A migration of players and global attention can happen. Be big. Be bold. Be American.

It’s true. US fans will never be satisfied until MLS is number one in the world. That drive for the top is one of the things that makes the USA great. But, it’s also what makes things hard for business like MLS during this growing period.

The Federal government computers & software are in such bad shape that they often cannot verify that payments are not fraud, waste or abuse! That’s why the government can’t pass basic audits. They often LITERALLY don’t know where your tax dollars went. It’s insane. My preferred…

In order to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy, you have to make the transition a no-brainer Our goal is to create products that are not just on par with fossil fuel alternatives, but superior in every way More affordable, more reliable, safer & more fun

To improve the TRUE economy, which is output of useful products & services, we need to shift people from low to negative productivity jobs in government to high productivity jobs in the private sector! This is what really matters at a fundamental level.

This is a red herring. The US taxpayer shouldn't subsidize work that ranges from zero-to-negative value. Not at any salary.

Last year we spent $13mm on foreign aid to China. Not a huge number, but it reveals the parody of how our government works: we borrow money from China, with interest, only to donate it back to China (and other countries too). Foreign aid has become nonsensical & requires scrutiny

Chancellor McCormick ignored both $TSLA shareholder votes in her two decisions. She ignored the first vote in her first ruling on the argument that the $TSLA Board did not clearly communicate to shareholders the details of the comp plan and @elonmusk ‘s role in developing the…

Gary, taking her at her word, the rules of the court prohibit the second vote. You think the DE SC is gonna blow off those rules? Really?

Adding judicial insult to injury, Delaware Judge McCormick has ordered #Tesla shareholders to pay the plaintiff’s lawyers $345 million! The plaintiff owned 9 shares of $TSLA. McCormick is making a mockery of the sense of fairness essential to our American judicial system.

Based on her @TSLA ruling, DE Judge McCormick is an activist judge at its worst. No judge has the right to determine CEO compensation. Shareholders voted twice, overwhelmingly each time, to ratify @elonmusk’s 2018 performance-based pay package. She will lose this fight in Supreme…

Your tax dollars are paying to air-condition & heat thousands of empty government buildings 🤯 Outrageous!!

Most federal workers don’t physically show up, yet the cost of maintaining & providing energy for govt office buildings is $15BN/year (not counting billions more spent on office furnishings). The government owns 7,967 vacant buildings. This is nuts. Sounds like a job for DOGE.
