Tony Bennett 🕊 “For my money, Tony Bennett is the best singer in the business. He excites me when I watch him. He moves me. He’s the singer who gets across what the composer has in mind, and probably a little more.” – Frank Sinatra, Life Magazine, 1965

Pro Triathlete Emma Pallant-Browne's perfect response to a comment about an action shot showing her period. We see photos of athletes all the time with bruises and blood. Why should this one draw shame?

I think, of all the tributes and memorials I’ve read to Tina Turner, this image by the late Peter Lindbergh on the Eiffel Tower is the most striking. No photoshopping, no CGI, just a woman at the peak of her powers and in control of her own destiny. Goosebump-inducing!

Elevator To The Gallows (1958) score was composed and performed by Miles Davis in a one session recording while he watched a screening of the film. He took notes while watching the rough cut and then invited 4 fellow musicians without preparation to record it in one go. Genius.
