This is how the process from MVP to Product should look like. 💪

How do we accomplish this in software? - Focus. Eliminate needless features and needless complexity. - Reuse. Create reusable components. - Delegate. Use libraries, packages, frameworks, SaaS, PaaS, etc to reduce the amount of code and hardware we have to manage. - Eliminate.…

Frontend editing at its best. At @1xINTERNET, the editor experience is always our top priority. Our team has developed a great #Drupal module to improve the editor experience, and we're excited to share this short video showcasing just how easy it is to work with content in…

What Josh said. ⚠️ I'll also add: don't use localized currency either unless the user has expressed a preference for it.

Typical situation in my workspace 😅 tackling it since 10 years.

Life tip: Stop overthinking your tasks. It leads to analysis paralysis and you end up just thinking about work instead of actually doing it. Have a VERY basic plan, and just start working. You'll figure things out along the way.

Steve Jobs said “Design is not just what it looks like. Design is how it works.” But most designers prioritise aesthetics (even at the cost of UX itself). Here are 7 tips to design simple and accessible products that prioritise UX above all else:

We are still struggling how is the best way to manage config for site builder and editors. But these modules are a must have.

If you use #drupal’s configuration management system and you’re not using Config Split, I fear that you might be doing it wrong. New releases of Config Split and related contrib modules now available: nuvole.org/blog/2023/nov/… Via @fabianbircher

One of the best break downs on reactive pattern tools I saw. I am myself always struggling find/use best in place solutions. Michael does a great job!! Keep it on Michael

Are you managing state the right way in your @vuejs app? It can be very tricky to keep things simple and easy to work with. That's why I want to share the Data Store Pattern with you.

I am very very happy to choose @vuejs Keep it on!

a quick visualization of how signals work using Vue 3

That is the reason why I always stand behind web standards instead of polyfill the tiny details.

yep, definitely my consultancy part of my day job 🤣

All that stuff is great. I tried ddev & lando but ddev felt back in time more feature complete for me. Just a personal view. But in my company no developer is able to use any virtualization technology because it is not permitted by „it security department“. So chained to xampp 🙈

This is a no-brainer for the #drupal community (IMHO). It'll be goood for DDEV and good for Drupal while not burning any bridges. kevinquillen.com/ddev-being-con… Via @kevinquillen

Reminder that Drush 11 reaches End of Life (EOL) in 6 days. This coincides with the EOL of Drupal 9 on the same day. Upgrading from Drush 11 to Drush 12 should be relatively smooth. The support status for all Drush versions is documented at drush.org/12.x/install/#…

There so many #a11y related tools out there. Unlucky that so many systems (shop, cms, crm you name it) does not run such tests and gain more audience for their products. Challenge it! 💪

Could be quite useful if you have to create glossary like views, because they relying on the „page“ display. But your users should be able to edit the entry text on the page. Moving the views between menu positions would also be useful. 💪 #Drupal

Cool little #drupal contrib module I discovered recently that gives site-builders the ability to restrict access to Views' "Global text" field by role: drupal.org/project/views_… Module maintained by @joshirohit100 and @amitgoyal

That looks really nice. Did not try it, but it might be make your life easier if you are heavily life in preprocesses and make date like dependencies with your frontend. 🙌💪 #Drupal Would like to see more fluent/builder pattern like APIs in Drupal.

New version of Fluent #Drupal module. Exclusive support for Drupal 9 and 10. Upgraded codebase to harness the power and features of PHP 8.1. Comprehensive documentation: Detailed documentation covering common use cases, making it easier for developers. drupal.org/project/fluent

I am slightly delayed for my journey to Lille. Will be 4h i guess. Thank you for traveling with @DB_Bahn 👍 All connecting trains will be missed.

On my way to @DrupalConEur I am quite happy to have a week with interesting talks by the great people of the #Drupal community. 🎉 See you in #Lille.

I think it's now safe enough to use CSS color-mix() in production.
