I do not support assisted dying. The way forward is better funding for palliative care. Assisted dying will put vulnerable people at risk.

Ten newborns burnt to death in a hospital.   - CM is doing an election rally. - The media is more busy talking about MH elections. - No condolences from top ministers and leaders. Deaths due to negligence have been so normalised in this country. It's scary and disgusting.

There is nothing safe about the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, but a fundamental misunderstanding of its impact on medicine. We have got to fix palliative care first and foremost, yet this Bill draws more resources away from providing care. I will vote against.

A privilege to work with such a compassionate person, thank you and happy retirement @SartainKj

After a truly staggering 39 years in the NHS, our wonderful Head of Nursing at Scarborough Hospital, Kath Sartain has retired from the NHS. Her compassionate leadership, positive attitude, and effective communication make her a role model for all. Thank you, Kath 💙

Immigration is not the reason that you can’t get a hospital appointment, it’s the reason you can get one. Please repost for all the people who can’t seem to grasp that.

The Assisted Dying Bill before Parliament has broad cross-party opposition. As a Lib Dem Councillor in Tunbridge Wells I have been asked by many members of the community to support this open letter to Mike Martin MP to oppose the Bill. mikemartinassisteddying2024.com

Thank you Rachel

At Prime Minister's Questions today, I asked if Government would setup a Commission for Palliative and End Of Life Care, so that everyone can access the very best support when terminally ill. I've also secured a meeting with Health Secretary or Minister, to discuss further. #PMQ
