Deductions & exemptions are constants but taxes are regressive. As you earn even 1L extra, 32k immediately goes to govt but 80C, basic exemption, home loans, 80D, standard deductions do not change with inflation. They won't change automatically until govt change it. 5 गुना लगान।

Modi govt didn't change tax slabs for 10 years. Modi govt didn't increased 80C, 80D, home loan limit for 10 years. Modi govt didn't increased basic exemption limit from the last 10 years. Modi govt imposed tax on stocks and PF. 5L-10L 20% 10L - 30% This is the same for 10 years.
If you don't want arrogance and tax terrorism, kick this govt out. Tax on medical insurance is 18%. Tax on cement, small cars, scooters is 28%. Income tax is 31.2%. 80C, 80D, home loans limits, tax slabs have not changed in last 10 years and will not change in next 5 years too.
